Survive the next round of the Cup.

Have a good enough League position to give the Cup a good go thereafter.

Be able to look forward to next season.

Re: 14 Games left, what are your expectations?
We definitely WON'T progress in the Cup if Moyes takes that same approach to cup games as he has thus far.

He's seen us right in the league, but with regard to cup games ....... MOYES OUT!!

Re: 14 Games left, what are your expectations?
Nothing less than 14 wins and the FA Cup.

Back to the real world! its a bit of a lottery as to who go down this season as usually by know its down to 5 or 6 at the most, this season just about anyone from 9th down is in the mix, all it takes is a few good results and your mid table/top 10, a couple of bad ones and your in or there abouts the bottom 3.

We will finish around 10th IMO, Swansea will go down but the other 2 spots are well and truly anyone's guess.

In the cup, i reckon we will get past Wigan, hopefully an easier 5th round tie and if we have continued to climb well away from the bottom 3 by the time the 6th round is played then the Cup could become a priority.

Mid table mediocrity, perhaps getting into the 1/4 finals of the FA Cup. We don't have the resources to do better in either competition and I don't have the belief that the owners are prepared to invest in he squad to improve it beyond a 'plugging the gaps' level.

Last year's January spending was bizarre. GBP19m on two players who have made little difference. Just bizarre.

Depends how bad the Lanzini injury is

You don't have to be a football genius to know that we will just plod through the remaining games. Win some, lose some, finish around 13th.

We have all been conned.

No one cares what you think, Dancer. Fuck off to somewhere where you're wanted.

44 points and a new contract for David Moyes.

Given we all support West Ham, I expected no one to have any expectations.

I expect some choppy waters if we do not bring in at least two decent players. The Olympic Stadium is still a noose around the players neck they just cannot seem to move on and play some decent solid confident footy in it.

24 points from the last 14 games. FInish on 50 pts. would be very happy. 24 from 14 would equate to 65 pts per season. Slightly ahead of the 62, the year we finished 7th.

Far too optimistic probably, but let us hope.

Re: 14 Games left, what are your expectations?
All we really need to do is match whoever lies in 17th place from that point onwards, so at the moment all we need to do (just to be safe, which I'm sure is the board's business plan) is to get as many points as Stoke (and, points-wise, Newcastle & Brighton).

That, of course may all change in the round of league matches after the FA Cup game, and a win - a comprehensive win - against Palace will give us an enormous amount of breathing space.

Stoke are at Watford, Newcastle host Burnley and Southampton host Brighton.

Wins for us, Stoke, Newcastle & Brighton will lift us above Watford, but won't do that much for our safety - especially if Huddersfield get anything from their home game against Liverpool.

".......... then the Cup could become a priority."

Do love a romantic! Since the Prem commenced 25 years ago only 3 teams outside the regular top 4/5 have prevailed. Wigan and Portsmouth (and they hardly kicked on from their cup success did they) and Everton.

Sadly the comp - the game! - ain't what it used to be.

Re: 14 Games left, what are your expectations?
For us, Finish maybe 5-6 points above the drop in the league.

feel gutted as Bournemouth win the cup beating spurs in the final 4-3 in a cracking game (Defoe 3 and Stanislaus 1 + 3 assists)

Stoke and WBA to stay up, with swansea and any two of three newly promoted sides going down
